☕ Coffee... ✔️
🥕 Fresh produce... ✔️
Community... ALWAYS. 💚
One of our favorite things about our Hollidaysburg location is its history. Before it became Greenbean Coffee House, it was Baronner's Farm Market—a place where people stopped for fresh, local foods.
We think that's a tradition worth keeping alive.
Thanks to our friends at Blue Barn Farm, our produce cooler is freshly stocked with locally grown vegetables, jams, dressings, pickled favorites, and more!
So next time you're grabbing your morning latte, take a peek in the cooler. You might just leave with everything you need for tonight's dinner too. 🥒🥕🍈
Fresh, local, and supporting another small business... that's a win-win in our book. 💚

TRIGGER WARNING: Sensitive Topics in this post.
Every day, we’re reminded that there is no shortage of hurt, cruelty, and pain in this world. While we can’t control the actions of others, we can control how we choose to respond. We can allow anger, judgment, and division to define us or we can choose kindness, compassion, and respect, even when it’s difficult.
It’s easy to share posts reminding people to “be kind because you never know what someone is going through.” But kindness means very little if it exists only in our words and not in our actions. If we aren’t willing to live out the compassion we so often encourage others to show, then we’re contributing to the very problem we claim to stand against.
That’s why Becky’s story matters.
On July 16, 2019, 7 years ago today, we lost our dear friend, Rebecca “Poppy” Hoover.
After Rebecca’s death, a powerful truth emerged: even those who appear strong and successful can be silently struggling. Her story has become a catalyst for awareness, accountability, and change, touching the hearts of strangers, inspiring community conversations, and leaving an undeniable mark on all who hear it. Becky’s story is a constant reminder that we never know how someone might be struggling, so we should treat others with kindness and compassion, even when we don’t believe they deserve it.
Rebecca’s life is remembered not just for how it ended, but for how she lived:
• She was generous, giving her time and resources to local causes.
• She was resilient, starting and growing multiple businesses at the same time.
• She was uplifting, always cheering on others
Her legacy now lives in every business owner who chooses support over sabotage, in every person who checks on a struggling friend, and in every conversation that dares to talk about pain instead of hiding it.
Becky is no longer here to tell her truth—but the truth she left behind continues to open eyes, soften hearts, and change lives. That is what makes her impact profound. That is what makes it permanent. And that is the one thing that can never be taken away from her. #rememberpoppy
