We have some exciting changes ahead for Green Bean Coffee House, and we wanted to share a little bit of what’s next with all of you.
After a lot of thought and prayer, we’ve made the decision to put our GB Hollidaysburg property at the former Baronner’s Farm Market up for sale.
This location has been such an incredible part of our journey. It’s honestly amazing to look back at how quickly it grew and how many wonderful customers, families, friends, and memories we’ve gotten to know in such a short amount of time. We are incredibly grateful for every person who came to our truck over the years, visited our coffee stand, supported an event, grabbed a coffee, brought their pups, or simply stopped in to say hello.
This decision isn’t about slowing down, it’s actually about moving forward.
Our wholesale bean program is growing, and we’re incredibly excited about the direction it’s taking us. As we focus more of our time and energy on roasting, supplying our current wholesale customers, developing new wholesale partnerships, and traveling to meet the needs of those customers, it’s becoming clear that our attention needs to be focused in a different direction.
For us, that means getting back to basics.
We want to bring our Green Bean family back under one roof at our 6th Ave location in Altoona, put our energy into what we do best, and continue doing what has always been at the heart of Green Bean: serving great coffee, building relationships, and caring for our community.
And just because the property is going up for sale doesn’t mean GB Hollidaysburg is closing tomorrow! We will continue to be open and serving our customers while we wait for the perfect buyer and the right next chapter for that property. And YES….Bean-O-Ween on October 17th is still happening! We’re planning a great event, and everyone is welcome. So please come out, enjoy the day with us, grab some coffee, and help us make another great memory!
We’re excited for what’s ahead, especially what we’re building with our roasting and wholesale program , and we’re even more excited to have our entire GB family together again as we move into this next chapter.
