We’re excited to welcome Petco to our Puppuccinos & Poses event at our Hollidaysburg location on May 16th, 10am-2pm! 🐾 They will be sharing information on pet safety and training and the many different services they offer at the store located in the Target plaza.
Petco offers positive reinforcement dog training programs designed to strengthen communication, improve safety, and build a better bond between pets and their people. Their certified trainers focus on rewarding positive behaviors through both in-store and online classes for dogs of all ages and stages.
Even better…they’ll also be bringing adoptable pups looking for their forever homes! ❤️🐶

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚 #rememberpoppy
Did you know that 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiences one or more forms of mental illness?
That means someone you pass every day may be silently struggling while masking their pain behind a smile or laughter. Choosing kindness, understanding, and grace truly does make a difference, especially for those who are vulnerable or hurting. With everything happening in the world today, now more than ever, we have the opportunity to help create a kinder, more compassionate society that supports mental wellness for everyone.
This month, through our Poppy’s 💚 Heart Program, we are selling fundraiser punch cards at both Green Bean locations. This card entitles customers to 10 regular sized drinks off our “Specialty Drink” Menu, excluding Red Bull & Lotus. For every card sold, $5 will be donated to NAMI Blair County PA in honor of our dear friend Rebecca “Poppy” Hoover, former community member and owner of Trendz By Poppy.
The Poppy’s 💚 Heart Program was created in memory of Rebecca “Poppy” Hoover, who tragically lost her life on July 16, 2019. Becky was so much more than a business owner, she was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, future grandmother, future mother-in-law, and a beloved friend to so many. She brought kindness, generosity, and light to our community, and our goal is to continue honoring her legacy by carrying forward the love and philanthropy she shared with others. That is how Becky deserves to be remembered. #RememberPoppy
NAMI Blair County is an incredible local organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health conditions and suicide. They also provide valuable education, support, and mental health resources throughout our community.
